# $FAY Airdrop and Migration

## **Migrating to $FAY Tokens**

### $FAY Airdrop

As for other affected wallets, they will receive an equal amount of the $FAY tokens as the number of FAIRY they lost. For instance, if they lost 10,000 $FAIRY tokens, they will receive 10,000 $FAY tokens, the new native token on FairySwap v2.

### $Fairy token swap:

existing tokens holders of $Fairy can exchange their $Fairy token to $FAY token on a 1:1 basis. Please note that any operations related to converting FAIRY to FAY must be performed by the users themselves on Fairyswap’s official website.

The migration process will begin on PST time March 7, 2023 . During this time, users will be able to migrate their Fairy tokens to the FAY token. After the migration period ends, the old Fairy token will be retired, and FAY will be the governance token for FairySwap.

This is a big change, and we will do everything possible to make sure it is a smooth transition for you. To that end, We will be releasing detailed instructions on how to migrate your tokens in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more information on the migration process and FairySwap v2!
